Artist Bio

Karol Kusmaul (b. 1954, Bloomington, Illinois) recently earned an M.A. degree in painting  at Savannah College of Art and Design. She has practiced fiber art for many years, exhibiting in solo and group exhibitions worldwide, including Australia, England, Ireland, Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Czechoslovakia, and China. Specializing in collaged portraiture, Kusmaul also enjoys creating landscapes and still life work.  She is the proud founder of an international group of fiber artists called Cloth in Common, clothincommon. Kusmaul currently lives and works in Inverness, FL.
